He was born in Qingyang and Changyi She is said to be the creator of silkworm rearing and silk reeling in myths and legends. After the Northern Zhou Dynasty, it was worshipped as "the first silkworm" (silkworm God). Zhao Rui, a famous strategist in the Tang Dynasty, author of the long and short classics and teacher of Li Bai, a great poet, wrote the inscription of Leizu Holy Land in the Tang Dynasty: "Leizu first created the method of planting mulberry and raising silkworms, drawing silk and weaving silk, admonished the Yellow Emperor, ordered farming mulberry, legalized clothes, promoted marriage, advocated etiquette, erected palace, laid the foundation of the country, unified the Central Plains, and made great achievements in politics, which will never be forgotten. Lei initiated marriage, and his mother respected the world. He opened up hongmang with Emperor Yan and Emperor Huang. He bid farewell to the wilderness and made great achievements. Main achievements

Sericulture and silk reeling

After Huang Di defeated Chiyou, he established a tribal alliance, and Huang Di was elected as the leader of the tribal alliance. He led the people to develop production, grow grain, domesticate animals, smelt copper and iron, and make tools of production; and the business of making clothes and crowns was handed over to the Zhengfei Leizu. In the process of making clothes and crowns, Leizu and the other three people under the yellow emperor made a specific division of labor: Hu Chao was responsible for making crowns (HATS); Bo Yu was responsible for making clothes; Yu Ze was responsible for making shoes (shoes); and Leizu was responsible for providing raw materials. She often led women to the mountains to peel bark and weave hemp nets. They also peeled off the fur of various wild animals that men hunted for processing. Not long after that, the leaders of all tribes put on their clothes, shoes and hats. I think of all kinds of ways to make a lot of things that I like to eat. Who knows, Leizu always shakes his head and doesn't want to eat at all.

One day, these women quietly discussed and decided to go up the mountain to pick some wild fruits for Leizu to eat. They went into the mountains early in the morning, ran all over the mountains, picked a lot of fruit, but with a taste, it's not astringent, it's sour, it's not delicious. Until it was getting dark, suddenly in a mulberry forest, we found that the trees were full of small white fruits. They thought they had found a good fruit, so they were busy picking it, and no one cared to taste it. By the time everyone had filled the basket, it was getting dark. They were afraid of wild animals on the mountain, so they went down in a hurry. After they came back, the women tasted the little white fruit, but it didn't taste good. They bit it with their teeth, but they couldn't bite it. You see me, I see you, no one knows what fruit it is. Just at this time, the shipbuilding company came over and found several women standing there in a daze. They immediately asked what had happened. The women said that they went up the mountain to pick back the small white fruit for Leizu. Gonggu a listen, ha ha a laugh, say a listen, will go to see. In order not to let her walk, the women took the thread wrapped around the stick to her. Leizu was a very clever woman. She looked at the thread on the stick in detail and asked what mountain and tree the white fruit was picked from. Then she happily said to the women around her, "it's not fruit. It can't be eaten, but it's very useful. You have made a great contribution to the Yellow Emperor. "

Strange to say, since Leizu saw the white silk thread, he mentioned it every day, and his condition was getting worse day by day. He began to want to eat. Soon she was all right. In spite of Huangdi's dissuasion, she personally led the women to the mountain to see what happened. Leizu observed for several days in the mulberry forest, and then found out that this small white fruit was made of a kind of insect's mouth, not a tree's fruit. When she came back, she reported the matter to the Yellow Emperor and asked him to order the protection of all the mulberry trees on Qiaoguo mountain. The Yellow Emperor agreed.

Since then, under the advocacy of Leizu, the history of mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing began. In order to commemorate Lei Zu's contribution, later generations honored her as "xiancan Niang Niang".

The mother of the world

As we all know, Leizu, the imperial concubine of the Yellow Emperor Yuan Dynasty, is a great inventor of sericulture and silk in the world. She has benefited China and the whole world, and has written a brilliant chapter in the history of Chinese and world civilization. It has always been respected by the people. Many ancient books praise Leizu's great achievements. In the first year of Jianlong in the Northern Song Dynasty, he wrote that Leizu taught people how to raise silkworms and control silkworms without covering their bodies with leaves. He taught people how to raise silkworms and ants, so he taught them how to return to heaven. They took off fishing and hunting to do farming and make clothes. Virtue is matched with the Yellow Emperor, which helps to achieve the unity of Huairou; kindness is attached to yuankong, and education is based on agriculture. For thousands of years, all living beings depend on survival. Tens of millions of people have returned to Dehua. Great achievements are shared by the sun and the moon, and the spirit lives with the heaven and earth.

Leizu is a statesman who realized the internal alliance of Xiling and Xishu tribes, and realized the Grand Alliance of tribes with Huangdi; supported Huangdi, allied Yandi Yuwang, entered the Central Plains eastward, defeated Chiyou, unified Wanbang, and laid the foundation of China. She was an educator who taught people how to raise silkworms, weave silk, make clothes, promote the world, and create and promote ancient civilization. Leizu gave birth to two sons. She and Xuanyuan decided to surrender their eldest son Qingyang to Jiangshui (Minjiang River) and their second son Changyi to Ruoshui (Yalong River) to accept the hard environment, and let Zhuanxu, the grandson who can take on the great responsibility, inherit the throne of Yellow Emperor. It shows that Leizu is a virtuous wife and Virgin Mary who knows the general, does not follow the private, teaches children with righteousness, loves selflessly, and sets an example for all generations. She was a militarist who used both kindness and authority to attack the heart and pacify the rebellions of small tribes in Xiling. She advocated marriage matchmaking, the conclusion of dual marriage, ethical education, reflecting the spirit of sacrifice and dedication of life for the people's welfare. Lei Zu was worshipped as "the first silkworm" by the imperial court and the silkworm God by the folk. Because she traveled all over the country and died on the road, she was worshipped as "the God of Tao", "the God of action" and "the God of ancestor", that is, the God of safety in travel, and evolved into "the God of tourism" - the God of protection for tourists. Chinese people worship Leizu, from ancestor worship to deity worship, from national common ancestor to personality God, with dual identity. She, Emperor Yan and Emperor Huang are great scientists, inventors, politicians and militarists.
