Three emperors and five sovereigns

The three emperors and five emperors are the legendary "Emperors" in China before the Xia Dynasty. Now it seems that they are all tribal leaders, and because of their strength, they have become leaders of the tribal alliance. It is generally believed that they should belong to Mongolian race. Basically, whether according to myths and legends or historical records, it is believed that the age of the three emperors was earlier than that of the five emperors. But different historians have different definitions of "Three Emperors and five emperors". There are five theories about the three emperors and five theories about the five emperors. Sanhuangsuiren, Fuxi, Shennong Fuxi, Nuwa, Shennong Fuxi, zhurong, Shennong Fuxi, Shennong, Gonggong Fuxi, Shennong and Huangdi were promoted because of the influence of Shangshu. Fuxi, Shennong and Huangdi became the three oldest emperors in China. In addition, Weishu in the Han Dynasty called the three emperors the emperor, the emperor of the earth and the emperor of the people, the three gods. Later, in Taoism, the three emperors were divided into three groups: the first three emperors had human form; the middle three emperors had human face and snake body or dragon body; the second three emperors had snake body, namely Fuxi, the second one had snake body, namely Nuwa, and the third one had cow body, namely Shennong. Among them, the fourth is the most popular one, which is Huangdi, Zhuanxu, Diku, Yao, shunmi Opera (Fuxi), Shennong, Huangdi, Yao, shuntaihao, Yandi, Huangdi, SHAOHAO, Zhuanxu, SHAOHAO, Zhuanxu, Diku, Yao, shunhuangdi, SHAOHAO, Zhuanxu, Huo, Yao. At present, there are many controversies about the understanding of its history, but basically there is no dispute that China was in the primitive society during this period. As most of the existing materials in this historical period are entangled with myths and legends, it is difficult to judge the authenticity of many things. Now a popular saying (based on historical data) is that there was a tribe with the surname Ji in the Yellow River Valley, and the leader was the Yellow Emperor. The tribe lived in the middle of Shaanxi Province, mainly engaged in agricultural labor. There is also a tribe with the surname Jiang headed by Emperor Yan nearby, and friction often occurs between the two sides. The battle between the two tribes finally broke out. The Yellow Emperor defeated the Yan Emperor, and the two tribes formed an alliance. It is from this that the Chinese nation came into being. Today's Chinese call themselves "descendants of the Yellow River" also comes from this.

The goddess patching the sky

The myth of "Nuwa mending the sky" is the most influential myth in the three Jin Dynasty. This myth comes from Huainanzi. The full text is as follows:

In ancient times, the four poles were abandoned, the nine states were split, the sky was not covered, and the earth was not carried; the fire was not extinguished, and the water was endless; beasts ate Zhuan people, and birds of prey seized the old and the weak. So Nu Wa smelted five colored stones to fill the sky, cut off the Ao enough to set up the four poles, killed the black dragon to aid Jizhou, and accumulated reed ash to stop the water. The heaven is mended, and the four poles are upright; the water is dried up, and Jizhou is flat; cunning insects die, and Zhuan Minsheng lives; back to Fangzhou, and round the sky.

According to relevant information, there are five Nuwa tombs in China, two in Shanxi Province, one in Fengling of Ruicheng County, and the other in Zhaocheng of Hongdong county. According to the ancient books such as general textual research of literature, records of the universe and records of nine cities, it is said that the tomb of Nu Wa was in Zhaocheng, and the sacrificial rites of all dynasties were also in Zhaocheng. In addition, there are also Nuwa temple and Nuwa mending place in Fushan County. Jizhou in myth refers to the junction of Shanxi and Hebei. Therefore, it is reasonable to say that the myth of "Nuwa mending the sky" originated in Shanxi. Nuwa, or nvyin, is the pseudonym of the God of fertility. In the romance of customs, there is a saying that Nuwa made man. Wherever there is a Nuwa temple, the custom of praying for a son in Nuwa Temple prevails. Although there is no scientific basis for this, it is permeated with a primitive culture of reproduction worship. In the primitive times, tribal wars were very cruel and frequent, and they all depended on human force to fight against each other. Therefore, people expect women to have a large number of children, so that the Ding clan can prosper, in order to avoid the fate of extinction. Therefore, "Nuwa mending the sky" came into being. In the myth of "Nuwa mending the sky", the sky that Nuwa mends is the sky above her head; the ground she supports is the ground under her feet; what she creates is a world for human beings to live in peace; what she reflects is her fearless courage. However, from another perspective, we can find that this myth contains a strong conservative thought. In fact, Nu Wa can go to the place where she can "carry and cover" for survival, and she doesn't have to spend a lot of effort to mend the sky and the earth.

Nu Wa is a goddess in Chinese historical myths and legends. He and Fuxi are brothers and sisters. It is said that the human head and the snake body were used to refine five colored stones to fill the sky, knead the earth to make man, and made the wedding ceremony to continue human life and create all living things in the world. Nu Wa is the great mother of the Chinese nation. She kindly created us and bravely took care of us from natural disasters. It is the God of creation and the God of ancestor, which is widely worshiped by the people for a long time. She has great powers and can create at least 70 things every day. Taiping Yulan: before making human beings, Nu Wa created chickens, dogs, sheep, pigs and horses on the first day of the first month, the second day, the third day, the fourth day, the sixth day and the seventh day. On the seventh day, Nu Wa made clay figurines by imitating her own appearance with loess and water. Batch after batch, she felt that it was too slow, so she used a cane, covered with mud, and waved them little by little All the mud on the ground turned into people. In order to let the human race go on forever, she created the wedding ceremony and acted as a matchmaker herself, so that people could understand the method of "creating human beings" and pass on the family with her own strength. Another kind of legend "Du Yi Zhi" is: Nu Wa and Fu Xi are brothers and sisters. At the beginning of the universe, there were only two brothers and sisters under the Kunlun Mountains, and there were no other people in the world. They want to be husband and wife, but they are ashamed. My brother and sister went up to Kunlun Mountain and said, "If heaven agrees that my brother and sister are husband and wife, please unite all the clouds in the sky, or you can disperse them. So the clouds in the sky immediately joined up, and they became husband and wife. The Chinese nation is their descendants.
