Uncle Cai, Ji surname, first name, known as Cai Shudu, the fifth son of Zhouwen Wang Jichang and Tai Si, the same mother and brother of Zhou Wu Wang Jifa, one of the third prisons in early Zhou Dynasty, Cai Guo was the first ancestor of Cai.

After the king of Zhou Wu destroyed Shang, he was named to Cai (now Shangcai, Henan). When Zhou became king, Cai Shudu and his brother Guan Shuxian hijacked Wu Geng, the son of Shang Zhou, to rebel, and Zhou Gongdan soon quelled him. Cai Shudu was exiled and eventually died in the place of exile. After Cai Shudu's death, his son Jihu was also named Cai Zhong.

Early experiences


Cai Shudu is the fifth son of Zhou Wen Wang Jichang, the same brother of Zhou Wu Wang Jifa. Cai Shudu's mother was named Tai Si, whose surname Si, was the daughter of the Xin tribe, the descendant of Xia Yu, the monarch of the Xia Dynasty, and the wife of King Zhou Wen. Tai Si diligently manages the family and abides by women's way, so she is called the mother of literature.

Tai Si and King Zhou Wen had ten sons, followed by the eldest son Bo Yi Kao, the second son Zhou Wu Wang Jifa, the third son Guan Shuxian, the fourth son Zhou Gongdan, the fifth son Cai Shudu, the sixth son Cao Shuzhenduo, the seventh son Yun Shuwu, and the eighth son Huo Shu. The place, the nine sons of Kang Shufeng, the ten sons of Ran Jizai.

The ten brothers of Cai Shudu have been taught by their mother's eldest son since childhood, so they have never done anything against common sense or absurd since they were young.

Feng Cai Guo

After the death of King Zhou Wen, Cai Shudu's eldest brother Boyi died early in the exam, so he was succeeded by King Zhou Wu, the second brother of Cai Shudu. In the eleventh year of King Wu of Zhou (1046 years ago), King Wu of Zhou destroyed the Shang Dynasty and established the regime of the Zhou Dynasty, which is known as the Western Zhou Dynasty.

After Zhou Wu established the Zhou Dynasty, in order to consolidate the Zhou dynasty, he implemented the system of enfeoffment, and entrusted the heroes, clan, and descendants of the sages, so he entrusted the land to his third brother Guan Shuxian, established the governing country, and lived and governed the city; He gave his fifth brother Cai Shudu, established the Cai Kingdom and lived in Shangcai (now Shangcai County, Henan Province). [7] King Zhou Wu also named the Shang Dynasty's survivors to Wu Geng (Father of Lu), the son of King Shang Zhou (Di Xin), who had the same status as the princes, in order to uphold the sacrifices of his ancestors. Because Wu Geng was not yet convinced by Wu Geng, he was afraid that he had different intentions, so he asked Cai Shudu, Guan Shuxian and Huo Shuchu to assist and supervise Wu Geng to govern the Shang Dynasty survivors together.

Three prisons

After the death of King Zhou Wu, Prince Ji recited the throne as King Zhou Cheng. When King Zhou Cheng became king, he could not handle government affairs independently. At that time, the Zhou Dynasty was deciding the world, and the political situation was not very stable. So Cai Shudu's fourth brother Zhou Gongdan became the regent of the country, acting as King Zhou Cheng to handle state affairs. Cai Shudu, Guan Shuxian, and Huo Shuchu suspected that Zhou Gongdan would usurp the throne. The three were indignant and spread rumors everywhere. In the second year of King Zhou Cheng (1041), the three supported Wu Geng in a rebellion.

In the fourth year of King Zhou Cheng (1039 BC), Zhou Gongdan conquered the rebels in the name of King Zhou Cheng. Soon, Zhou Gongdan put down the rebellion, punished Wu Geng and Guan Shuxian, and exiled Cai Shudu to Guo Lin (in the area of ​​Chanhu Temple in the northwest of the old city of Cai State). When Zhou Gongdan exiled Cai Shudu, he was only allocated ten cars and seventy prisoners as his entourage. Cai Shudu eventually died in the exile.

Major achievements

After Zhou Wu established the Zhou Dynasty, he sealed Cai Shudu in Caidi and established Cai State. King Zhou Wu also gave the Shang Dynasty survivors to the son of King Shang Zhou, Wu Geng (Father of Lu). Because Wu Geng was not yet convinced and feared that he might have different intentions, he asked Cai Shudu, Guan Shuxian and Huo Shuchu to jointly assist and supervise Wu. Geng, together govern the survivors of the Shang Dynasty.
